Most Rules Are Fake
Play to Win or Get Played
Most of the rules you think you have to follow in business?
Fake.
Made up by someone with no skin in the game.
🚫 Fake Rule #1: “You need to grind 80 hours a week to succeed.”
❌ Wrong—efficiency wins, not burnout.
🚫 Fake Rule #2: “You have to take every client who can pay.”
❌ Bad clients drain your time, money, and sanity.
🚫 Fake Rule #3: “You need a polished brand before making money.”
❌ No—you need sales, not aesthetics.
🚫 Fake Rule #4: “Cold outreach doesn’t work.”
❌ Tell that to the businesses adding millions from it.
Too many business owners act like employees.
They wait for permission. They follow someone else’s game plan.
Meanwhile, winners do this instead:
✅ Question everything. Is this actually true, or just something people assume?
✅ Move fast. Action beats theory. Test, learn, adjust.
✅ Break fake rules. If your competitors follow them, use that as your edge.
✅ Stack the deck. Leverage people, systems, and automation to tilt the game in your favor.
Bottom line:
You don’t need permission. You need control.
